About

About Our Company:

The company, RetroMurray Productions, was founded in July 2012 with its debut film, 'Sweet Tooth', which was co-produced with UNCSA Productions.  Since then, RetroMurray has made two more short films.

The company plans to produce and film its first feature-length film in the next 2 - 5 years.

RetroMurray Productions has a new long term goal of becoming a production company that employs disabled individuals in all aspects of filmmaking, both on-screen and off.  The company believes in disability representation in media and knows that the best course of action is simply by doing what no one else is: giving others a chance.

About Our Director:

Our film director, Amanda Murray, (IMDb), was born in Memphis, TN on May 3rd, 1989.  Film directing was her life long passion and the short film 'Sweet Tooth' was her directorial debut.  She has directed a second film, 'Flowers for Sale' and directed her third, 'Gone Fishing', in 2015.

“Unlike all the other art forms, film is able to seize and render the passage of time, to stop it, almost to possess it in infinity. I’d say that film is the sculpting of time.”

- Andrei Tarkovsky
